The Auckland Boat Show, the biggest on-water event of the year, is returning with a bang this year. Exhibitors will present close to 500 marine brands to a public hungry for nautical products. The show is set to take place at Jellicoe Harbour from March 23-26.
According to statistics commissioned by NZ Marine last year, 1.9 million people, or 40 percent of New Zealand’s population, participate in boating each year, making boating New Zealand’s most popular recreational activity. The rapid growth and record boat sales have seen new models, boundary-pushing innovation, and a growing range of vessels – and ways to access them – feeding the appetite of the boating public.
The show’s late summer dates have been set to ensure a ‘festival on the water’ feel. It’s also designed to allow boaters to discover the products and services that will help them prepare for the season ahead. Tickets to the Auckland Boat Show are on sale now - It’s going to be an exciting event with plenty of new models and innovation on display for boating enthusiasts to explore.
