Auckland boat show 2026 marks 25 years of Kiwi boating innovation

February 2026

The Auckland Boat Show celebrates its 25th anniversary from 5-8 March 2026 at Jellicoe Harbour and Viaduct Events Centre. This milestone event has grown from just 42 exhibitors in 1999 to over 150 exhibitors showcasing 500+ marine brands and more than 200 boats across 1.3 kilometres of waterfront.

The 2026 show reflects renewed confidence in New Zealand's marine industry, with exhibition space expanded by 20% to meet exhibitor demand. Kiwi boaties can explore everything from trailer boats and inflatables to luxury motor yachts, with many vessels designed and built right here in New Zealand.

New Zealand innovation takes centre stage with standout local debuts including the elegant Elite Kaeā from Tauranga's Marra Marine, Offshore Boats NZ's new foil-assisted power catamaran, and Tristram Marine's APEX Edition. International premieres include the Grand Banks 54, Maritimo's M55 and M75 Flybridge Motor Yachts, and the Finnish-built SARGO 45 adventure cruiser.

The expanded Sea Trial Zone features 32 different models available for on-water demonstrations, giving you the rare opportunity to test boats in real conditions before making a purchase decision. The show also includes dedicated zones for careers, sustainability, fishing, and high-end charters.

Sailing legend Conrad Colman and the Aotearoa Ocean Racing team will attend, preparing for the 2027 Auckland stopover of The Ocean Race. With more than 200 boats on display and thousands of visitors expected, it's the perfect chance to immerse yourself in New Zealand's boating community.
